All Things Are Possible

It is one thing to know the Word, and something far different to actually walk in it. The problem with many believers is they keep trying to change His Word rather than simply letting His Word change them. Let the Word have its way in you.

“So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it” (Isaiah 55:11).

It is much easier to say you believe the Word than it is to actually believe it. The problem we have today with most believers, is that they don’t believe. You have to believe to receive. Man wants to turn it around on God, demanding a sign to earn their faith. There is no faith in that.

“Jesus said… ‘If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes’” (Mark 9:23).

“All things are possible” belongs only to the one who believes. Many hear this and walk away disbelieving, and they receive nothing. But the one in a thousand who dares to believe lives the life where all things are possible. Won’t you just believe?

Several years ago I was in a prison to teach a class. The Lord had me put down my lesson in favor of teaching His lesson. Oh the great loss we have in thinking our plans are greater than His! His plan was to teach on faith. My friend, we need to increase our faith more than we need to increase our knowledge. The message that night was to pray healing over the sick and the injured.

[The Lord Jesus said] “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them” (Mark 11:24).

There is power in but a single word spoken in prayer by a believer who trusts that Jesus can heal. It is not in your many words, but in a single ounce of faith through which His power flows. Do you believe the words that Jesus spoke? I dare you to believe in even a single one.

[The Lord Jesus said] “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do…” (John 14:12).

We gathered around men who did not get the medical care they needed. They only had prayer. The best prayer is when all you have is a prayer to stand on. One older man was terribly sick with pneumonia and could not breathe well at all. Sometimes God makes things impossible for you so you will know it is only by His power that you can prevail.

“But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26).

We laid hands on that man and prayed fervently and expectantly. If you are surprised by answered prayer, then how much faith could you possibly have? This man believed that he could be healed. And I want you to know, that on that very night this man was completely healed.

“Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick…” (James 5:14-15).

Oh what would be possible for the saint who would simply believe? The problem is never if God can do. The problem is do we believe He can. Stop making excuses of why you can’t, and just believe that He can. It is by His power, never by your methods. You don’t need a degree, but only the faith like a child.

“Jesus said… ‘If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes’” (Mark 9:23).

Have faith, just believe, and watch all that the Lord would do for you. Don’t pray halfheartedly and say only if it is His will. No, press in, it is not over until it is over. Consider His will is that you would never give up. Don’t give up.

The Lord is looking for those who would just believe. Dare to believe the words of Christ are true. Pray the promises of Christ into the lives around you.

Blessings to you,

Paul
