It’s not that you need to do more, but you need to be more in the will of God. Man measures by what is completed in the world, but God measures by what is completed in the man. “And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever” (1 John 2:17 NKJV).
If you would get your life into the will of God, then everything else will fall into place for the life that God has planned for you. There is a place that you can get to if you are willing to let Him help you, and nobody who gets there is sorry that they did.
It’s a decision of our will to step into His will, and the choice will forever matter. “You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised” (Hebrews 10:36 NIV).
Too often, we go to God, and we pray with all our might to pull Him into our will with all that we want to happen. But it is that rare man or woman who dares to fall down before Him and ask Him what His will is for their life. Be that rare man or woman and let Him show you.
It’s better to pray before your decisions than after them. “Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take” (Proverbs 3:6 NLT).
We can know God’s general will for our life, for He makes it plain in the Word in all that we should do. We are blessed in our day to have the Word so readily available, and there is no one who has an excuse for not reading it. The will of God is in the Word of God.
God’s specific will is always within His general will. “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NIV).
We agonize over what we should do when what we should agonize over is understanding what God would have us do. If we get into God’s will then God will give us His will into ours. We only need to agonize over our decisions when we have yet to give them over to God.
It’s either your way or God’s way, and your choice forever matters. “Today I am giving you a choice of two ways. And I ask heaven and earth to be witnesses of your choice. You can choose life or death. The first choice will bring a blessing. The other choice will bring a curse. So choose life! Then you and your children will live.” (Deuteronomy 30:19 ERV).
What we need to do is to spend more time getting into God’s will, knowing that once we are, we will be in the perfect place for Him to help us. When we are in His will, then He can do the most in us and through us to achieve the purposes He has ordained for us.
Better to live one day in the will of God than a thousand going your own way. “Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes” (Romans 12:2 TPT).
It is more important that you’re in His will than you understand another doctrine. If you get into His will, you will be living in the doctrine from which all other doctrines will flow. Your purpose on this earth is not to know more but to live more in the perfect will of God.
The best path to be on is the path that is in the will of God. “The world is passing away, and with it its lusts [the shameful pursuits and ungodly longings]; but the one who does the will of God and carries out His purposes lives forever” (1 John 2:17 AMP).
We spend too much time considering what things we need to be delivered from and not recognizing all the while what we really need to be delivered from is ourselves. The singular major obstacle to you getting into God’s will is remaining in your own.
It is far easier to get into the will of God than to get God into your will. “Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us” (1 John 5:14 NKJV).
There is no negotiating with yourself to surrender and get into God’s will. You must die to yourself for as long as you are alive to yourself, you won’t have Christ alive in you. It is Christ’s heavenly purpose to live in you, and it is your dying to self that allows Him to do so.
Sanctification is not losing things but being set free from them. “For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality” (1 Thessalonians 4:3 NKJV).
When you are in God’s will, your whole life will be different. You will rarely worry anymore, for you know all too well that He will always be with you. You will hardly ever get frustrated because you know that He is always there to help you with every challenge.
When you pray to be in God’s will, He will help you to get there. “Yes, it is God who is working in you. He helps you want to do what pleases him, and he gives you the power to do it” (Philippians 2:13 ERV).
Being in God’s will means that you will better discern decisions before you and know that He is helping you to make the right choices. Your life may be difficult from the perspective of others, but inside, you find life incredibly and wonderfully easier once you’ve given your life to Him.
Seek to be in the Will of God and let Him worry about the rest. “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need” (Matthew 6:33 NLT).
If you want to live the life that God has ordained for you then you need to get into His will. Do this one thing, and a thousand other things will simply fall into place. We make it so complicated that it remains elusive in our lives, but all He wants is for you to be in His will. Do it.
Seek to be in the will of God, and it will be there that you’ll find your purpose. “God has made us what we are. In Christ Jesus, God made us new people so that we would do good works. God had planned in advance those good works for us. He had planned for us to live our lives doing them” (Ephesians 2:10 ICB).
Blessings to you always,

Am so fully blessed in this…my heart desire is to be in His will..I am confident Jesus will help me to do this…!!
I am most certain that when we pray to be in His will that He will help us to get there for that is certainly in His will that we would get there.
