The faith you walk in is the faith you have. If you believe the Lord can help you, then you will ask Him for anything that you need. You won’t spend two seconds agonizing about what you know God can be trusted with because you have walked this road too many times before.
If you believe more, then you’ll pray more. “Jesus said to him, ‘If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes’” (Mark 9:23 NKJV).
The faith you walk in is the life you live with God. The deeper the faith, the closer the walk and the nearer you are to the Lord with everything that you do. God is only as far from you as you are from Him. When you get right next to Him, your life will never again be the same.
You can be as near to God as you want to be. “Come close to God and He will come close to you” (James 4:8a NASB).
The faith you walk in reveals the faith you are filled with. If you trust that God is with you, then you trust that God can help you. There is nothing too hard for God if only you would trust Him. What you entrust to God reveals how much you really trust Him.
Never doubt what God can do and trust Him with His timing. “Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You” (Jeremiah 32:17 NKJV).
The faith you walk in is revealed through your prayers for others. A higher faith stands in the gap for the needs of those who are all around. So many don’t have a higher faith and need the prayers from the ones who are walking in a faith believing that God can do anything.
You pray to the degree you have faith. “Have faith that you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer” (Matthew 21:22 GW).
The faith you walk in is the path you take and reveals the one whom you follow. If you’re following Jesus, then the path you are on will show it. It is not revealed by the Christian things you might do but the Christ-like attitude that is within you. You can fake the talk but not the walk.
Don’t try to follow a list of rules; follow Jesus. “If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also…” (John 12:26 NKJV).
The faith you walk in is the result of the gift you have been given and not from anything you have done yourself. The greater the gift of faith, the greater the expectation from God that you will then learn to walk in it. Faith is not a prize but a duty that we would serve Him as much as we can.
Faith is not a prize but a gift. You cannot earn faith but only receive it. “…God has dealt to each one a measure of faith” (Romans 12:3 NKJV).
The faith you walk in is the purpose God has for you to do kingdom work here on this earth. Faith can move mountains, but will you exercise your faith until it does all that He wants you to do? It is not enough to have faith, but you must walk in it.
Seek to be in the will of God, and it will be there that you’ll find your purpose. “God has made us what we are. In Christ Jesus, God made us new people so that we would do good works. God had planned in advance those good works for us. He had planned for us to live our lives doing them” (Ephesians 2:10 ICB).
The faith you walk in determines how much you might stumble. We are all imperfect souls, but there are some who have walked ever higher. It is never to the credit of the saint that can go higher; it is only proof that they have asked the Lord to help them.
The question isn’t if God can help you, but will you let Him. “With all your heart you must trust the LORD and not your own judgment. Always let him lead you, and he will clear the road for you to follow” (Proverbs 3:5-6 CEV).
The faith you walk in is the lesson you are teaching to those who are watching your life. As you walk higher, you will draw people higher by the way that they see what you are doing. It is not only what your faith produces that matters but the faith you inspire in others.
The more you’re inspired by God, the more you’ll inspire others to do the same. “God speaks in different ways, and we don’t always recognize his voice” (Job 33:14 CEV).
The faith you walk in is up to you. Every day, you have choices, and you are the one who must decide. Your decisions are reflected in your walk, and your walk is the proof of what you have chosen. Everyone can walk a higher faith, but only a few let God help them.
Let today be the day that you let God change you. “Don’t change yourselves to be like the people of this world, but let God change you inside with a new way of thinking. Then you will be able to understand and accept what God wants for you. You will be able to know what is good and pleasing to him and what is perfect” (Romans 12:2 ERV).
Blessings to you,
