The more you’re inspired by God, the more you’ll inspire others to do the same. “God speaks in different ways, and we don’t always recognize his voice” (Job 33:14 CEV).
There is a life we are meant to live in which we are sensitive to the Holy Spirit and all the ways He wants to help us. The Holy Spirit can teach you what you need to know, lead you on what you should do, and inspire you with revelations sent from heaven.
If you want to be inspired by God, you must put down the materials of man. Jesus promised, “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and remind you of all that I said to you” (John 14:26 NASB).
We should never become complacent on the natural level we live in and not seek to realize the spiritual realm that is right before us. If you want to have a deeper spiritual life, then you must first desire that you would get there and then ask the Lord to take you ever deeper.
Never let the limit of your sight be the limit of your faith. “And Elisha prayed, and said, ‘Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.’ Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha” (2 Kings 6:17 NKJV).
Stop thinking this divine life is only for others, and realize that the Lord is for us all. The only difference between the weakest believer and the greatest is that one was willing to let God use them. Divine inspirations don’t come unless you are humble enough to receive them.
The lower you kneel, the higher you can go in your faith. “Humble yourselves [with an attitude of repentance and insignificance] in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you [He will lift you up, He will give you purpose]” (James 4:10 AMP).
The Lord called me to write many years ago. Whether it is a devotion for the day, a blog for the week, or a book that He would have me publish, I don’t write a word until He gives me a word. You cannot be inspired so long as you are unwilling to wait for it.
If you want to be inspired by God, then you must wait for Him. “Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; on You I wait all the day” (Psalm 25:5 NKJV).
Sometimes, I will struggle to gain inspiration, striving for it as if it might come through my efforts. The longer I work for it, the more elusive it will become. You cannot catch an inspiration, for it can only be given to you. It’s only when you stop working that He can then give it to you.
You can’t be led by the Spirit of God unless you listen to the Spirit of God. “For all who are allowing themselves to be led by the Spirit of God are sons of God” (Romans 8:14 AMP).
The Lord can inspire you with what to say and when to say it. Equally true, the Lord can inspire you about when to shut your mouth. So long as your flesh is speaking, the Lord will not. Until you settle your mind it has no room to listen to the Lord.
When you quiet the soul, Holy Spirit will quicken you. Jesus taught, “It is the [Holy] spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63 KJV).
A believer who is properly filled with the Holy Spirit will learn to lean on the Holy Spirit more than relying upon themself. They will seek divine inspiration with the blessed assurance that His leading is sure to come. There are enough heavenly inspirations for us all.
Do not worry about the decisions before you, and instead, trust in the leading of the Holy Spirit. The Lord said, “Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it,’ whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left” (Isaiah 30:21 NKJV).
Do you believe that the Holy Spirit can inspire you? If you can believe that, then according to Jesus, it will be possible. If you can’t believe it, then you are most likely not going to be inspired. Belief requires that you are confident it will happen even if it hasn’t happened yet.
The first step to walking in miracles is believing that you can. “Jesus said to him, ‘If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes’” (Mark 9:23 NKJV).
Every morning, I wake up and start my day with a divine inspiration from heaven. I expect it to happen, and every day it does. It doesn’t happen because I am special, but only because I am expecting it, believing for it, and humble enough to accept what He might tell me.
The reason so few hear from the Holy Spirit is because so few believe that He will talk to them. Jesus taught, “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come” (John 16:13 NASB).
One of the hardest things in this world is to get a divine word from God that pierces your heart. At the same time, one of the greatest ways that the Lord helps to grow His saints is to pierce their hearts with a divine word. Listen to Him and let it hurt as it will.
If you won’t accept discipline for where you’re wrong, how can you ever expect to be made right? Jesus said, “Those whom I [dearly and tenderly] love, I rebuke and discipline [showing them their faults and instructing them]; so be enthusiastic and repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, your sinful behavior—seek God’s will]” (Revelation 3:19 AMP).
Blessings to you always,

Thank you so much brother Paul. As always very encouraging word, and so much to think about regarding our faith, patience and obedience.
Most of all disbelief and humility.
May the Lord keep blessing you and using you to feed His children with wisdom from above.
Blessings

Thank you so much Marcela. It is such a joy to be on the faith journey, where along the way the Lord is teaching us and helping us to live our lives as He would want us to. We may not be perfected yet, but by His grace, He is perfecting us each day.
