Don’t You Know?

Don’t you know that God is bigger than all your problems? There is nothing that God cannot do to help you. Nothing is impossible for Him. Nothing is too hard. The same God who created the heavens and the earth can most certainly help you.

When you’re praying by heaven’s rules, impossible is the goal line. “For with God nothing will be impossible” (Luke 1:37 NKJV).

Don’t you know that you are a son or daughter of the Father? You belong in His family. You are an heir to His kingdom. You are welcome in His house. He will watch over you and care for you each and every day of your life here on earth. You can call Him Daddy.

You need to bookmark your faith to remember Whose you are. “I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty” (2 Corinthians 6:18 NKJV).

Don’t you know that Jesus loves you? His love never depends on you, but you most certainly depend on His love. He loves you when you are His friend, but He also loved you when you were His enemy. You cannot cause Him to love you more, but He will cause you to be more loving.

Let the foundation of your faith rest upon the truth that Jesus loves you. Jesus promised, “I have loved you just as the Father has loved Me; remain in My love [and do not doubt My love for you]” (John 15:9 AMP).

Don’t you know the Holy Spirit dwells inside you? The Holy Spirit can teach you and guide you in every decision that stands before you. The Holy Spirit can cause you to live a higher life and a purposeful life where He is always reigning in your life.

There are some things that only the Holy Spirit can teach you. “These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches…” (1 Corinthians 2:13 NKJV).

Don’t you know that God has His angels here on earth to protect you? His angels are watching over you, and His angels are acting on your behalf. Don’t let the limit of your natural eyesight be the limit of your faith, for it is in the unseen realm where God is doing His greatest works.

Don’t ever give up because you have no idea of all that the Lord is doing to help you. “Then Elisha prayed, ‘O Lord, open his eyes and let him see!’ The Lord opened the young man’s eyes, and when he looked up, he saw that the hillside around Elisha was filled with horses and chariots of fire” (2 Kings 6:17 NLT).

Don’t you know that heaven is real, and your life will go on forever? You don’t have to fear death because death is only the door to a new beginning. If you only knew, you would fear staying on earth far more than you would ever fear going to heaven.

Look forward to heaven more than you fear the things in between. “But we are looking forward to God’s promise of new heavens and a new earth afterwards, where there will be only goodness” (2 Peter 3:13 TLB).

Don’t you know that God has a purpose for you? From eternity past, God has designed your future. What He wants from you is to simply be who He made you to be. It doesn’t have to be grand by the opinions of men, but it will most certainly please your Lord who made you.

Seek to be in the will of God, and it will be there you’ll find your purpose. “God has made us what we are. In Christ Jesus, God made us new people so that we would do good works. God had planned in advance those good works for us. He had planned for us to live our lives doing them” (Ephesians 2:10 ICB).

Don’t you know that God hears your prayers? If you realized He was listening, you would most certainly talk to Him more. Tell Him how you feel and about all the things that worry you. Pour out your heart about your troubles and ask Him to help you.

When you have nothing but a prayer, you have everything that you need. “Yahweh is near to everyone who prays to him, to every faithful person who prays to him. He fills the needs of those who fear him. He hears their cries for help and saves them” (Psalm 145:18-19 NOG).

Don’t you know that God can change you? He is not looking for your strength but for your willing heart. He is not expecting you to change on your own but knows how much you need Him. It is never too late,  and you are never too far gone for God to make you holy.

If you want to change your life, let Him. “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and put a new and right spirit within me.” (Psalm 51:10 RSV).

Blessings to you,

Paul Balius
