He Has You

The word omnipresence means being present everywhere at all times. God is omnipresent. God is everywhere at all times. There is never a moment nor a place in which God is not with us.

As humans, we are bound by time and space. We can only be in one place at a time, and we exist only in the present moment. God created time and space and is not bound by either one of them. God is with you always and forever, no matter where you are or what you’re going through.

No matter how bad things look around you, just remember that He is with you. “for the Lord your God is He who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory” (Deuteronomy 20:4 ESV).

God is always present with us, but in our minds, it often seems as if He is not. We often think we are all alone. We often worry as if God is not with us. We often fear as if God does not go before us. We often act as if God is not beside us. Yet, the more we realize His presence, the more we are changed by His presence.

Be confident in the Lord, knowing that He is with you. “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10).

Whenever anxiousness rises in me, I know that I am trying to make it on my own. Whenever I am afraid it reveals that I do not believe that He is with me. Learn to let anxiousness and fear be the signs that point you to the promises contained in the Word of God.

The further from God, the greater the fear. “The Lord himself will go before you. He will be with you. He will not leave you or forget you. Don’t be afraid. Don’t worry.” (Deuteronomy 31:8 ICB).

When we grasp the truth that He is always with us, we will stop worrying and fearing all that is going on around us. It does not mean we will not go through things, but we can know we will not go through them alone.

The question is not if you will survive the circumstance you are in, but will you trust Him through it. “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9).

It is not enough to know a thing, but you must believe in it. You can know that God is with you, but until you believe it, then you are on your own. It’s not what you know but what you live by that matters most. Faith trumps knowledge because faith is the manifestation of knowledge.

Those who pray much will be filled much by the presence of God. “And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13).

Recognizing the presence of God is not only to alleviate our fears but to give us a divine dose of courage and determination in all that God would have us do. Confidence is the result of realizing that your God goes before you and will help you in all that He has called for you to do.

You won’t reach new heights sitting in your comfort zone. “So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6).

Declare the truth written clearly in the Word of God, that God is with you. Don’t let the world be your focus, but merely your temporary home where God is seeing how much you will trust Him. Trusting Him does not mean you will understand Him, but you will know God is good all the time.

He will not take you up the mountain until you first learn to trust Him in the valley. “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me…” (Psalm 23:4).
