Perfect Love

God loves you. His love is so great that it can change you. And once you are changed, His love will flow through you.

God will pour as much love into you as you will let Him. “…we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love” (Romans 5:5 NLT).

If you want to grow in your faith, grow in His love.

Everything you do is completely worthless without love. “…and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing” (1 Corinthians 13:2 NKJV).

God is love, so to be filled with God is to be filled with love.

Holiness is nothing less than love reigning in your life.

Loving others is never hard when it is the love of God flowing from you. Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God.” (1 John 4:7 NLT).

Being perfected in love is when God’s love reigns perfectly in you.

We are meant to have God’s heart beating within our spirit.

The evidence of God’s perfect love in you is His perfect love through you. “…If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and His love is perfected in us” (1 John 4:12 KJV).

Loving others is Christ in you.

His perfected love in you causes an obedience to be born within you. “But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him” (1 John 2:5 NKJV).

Jesus can’t rule in you so long as you sit on the throne of you. Submit to Him and His love will flow through you.

We don’t have to agree with each other to love each other.

The law is love. “For the whole of the Torah is summed up in this one sentence: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself’” (Galatians 5:14 CJB).

We should never defend the Word of God with such fervor, that in the process we violate the Word in our fervor.

Never underestimate the power in a kind word, a gentle smile and a warm hug. “My dear, dear friends, if God loved us like this, we certainly ought to love each other” (1 John 4:11 MSG).

Let not doctrine divide, but only heaven and hell. Though we may not agree, let us still love.

Love trumps doctrine because doctrine is founded on love.

Love builds bridges and gentleness paves the way. “Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony” (Colossians 3:14 NLT).

It is not your ability to change others that determines your effectiveness as a Christian, but your willingness to love them just as they are.

Imagine a world where we had the best of intentions towards each other.

What you do reveals whether Christ is in you. “Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law” (Romans 13:10 NKJV).

I can always tell the degree that Christ reigns in a saint by the way they speak to someone they disagree with.

The world measures success by all that we have or do. The Lord measures success by how we treat others. “For the commandments…can be summed up in these words: ‘Love and value others the same way you love and value yourself’” (Romans 13:9 TPT).

In every area you are not loving towards others, God does not reign in that part of your life.

The evidence of Christ within is the life lived out. Say what you will, but your actions reveal all.

If Christ is love and Christ is in Christians, then why do Christians have so much hate in them? The Lord Jesus said, “Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples” (John 13:35 NLT).

Place your heart on the scale of God’s love. If what you are doing is not done in love, then it is not of God, for God is love.

Perfect love is fearless. “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves [the expectation of divine] punishment, so the one who is afraid [of God’s judgment] is not perfected in love [has not grown into a sufficient understanding of God’s love].” (1 John 4:18 AMP).

Blessings to you,

Paul

  1. This is so true and touch my heart to reach and do better to try to touch the hearts that are hard to love at times because if we don’t who will love the ones of us that are hard to love and also loved ones that are hard to love also . Thank you so much

    1. Oh yes, how much we need to love the ones that are hard to love, reach the ones that are hard to reach, that we would be used of God to be the light into a darkened world.
