Man of God

We need to make an urgent call to men of this day. This is a longer blog, but I pray you would take the time to read through it. This is not a blog just for men, but directed squarely at the root of who they are. There is much to change, and little time in which to do it.

What kind of man are you?

What kind of men do we need?

We need men who live lives of honor and duty.

We need men to protect our women, not attack them.

We need men that will provide for women, not try and take what they can get.

We need men that will not just be baby daddy’s, but the dedicated fathers of children.

We need men that will raise their children, not just make children.

We need men that speak respectfully about women and not degrading towards them.

We need men to be husbands and fathers, not players and dead beats.

We need a man willing to selflessly die for his family, not selfishly living for their own pleasure.

We need men that see women as God’s precious creation to be everything a man cannot be, not something to put down or use for his own sinful desires.

We need men that hold up women, not put them down.

We need men to be gentlemen, not pigs.

We need men who treat every woman as they would want someone to treat their mother or daughter.

We need men that teach our boys how to be honorable and good.

We need men that are strong and courageous to help their wives and family, not abuse them.

We need men willing to be God’s man, and not the man’s man of this world.

We need men strong of character and not just strong in muscles.

We need men tough with nobility not just tough on the street.

We need men that know the Word of God, and live it.

We need men who embrace the gifts God has given women, not suppress them lest they outperform them in the church.

We need men who see women as equal in value and only different in design and purpose.

We need men that teach our boys to look at women as precious jewels and not a piece of meat to devour.

We need men who don’t look inappropriately at women.

We need men who don’t allow other men to be degrading towards women.

We need men who treat women with dignity.

We need men that women are not afraid of.

We need men that women would want to follow.

We need men that walk such that women can look up to them.

We need men that are led by the Holy Spirit.

We need men that can be spiritual fathers.

We need men that boys would know what a real man is supposed to be.

We need men that are not afraid to cry.

We need men that care enough to cry.

We need men that pray for the needs of women.

We need men that are an example of what men should be.

We need men that protect their children, not hurt them.

We need men who do not have to hide the things they look at and do.

We need men who teach God’s word by the way they live their lives.

We need men that make women feel loved and protected.

We need men that love their wives more than themselves.

We need men that protect the sanctity of a woman’s body, not look upon it for their selfish desires.

We need men that desire the ideals of honor and duty.

We need kingdom men, not worldly men.

We need men in our churches changed more than we need more men in our churches.

We need men that live lives that prove what Christ can do.

We need men who desire purity, not men that seek to destroy it.

We need men who protect the honor of women, not seek to unwrap it.

We need men that women would desire to dress more modestly for.

We need men that make women feel beautiful exactly as they are.

We need men to lift women to what God has made them to be, not put them down to what man wants them to be.

We need men empowered by the Holy Spirit not controlled by their own flesh.

We need men who will love women as Christ loved the church. Jesus died for the church.

We need men who do not try to make a woman feel inferior, but with greater importance than himself.

We need men that make women feel special.

We need men to be responsible.

We need men that legacies are made of.

We need men that are heroes.

We need men that make women want to be more godly, not less.

We need men that immodest women avoid.

We need men that treat a woman as the greatest gift in the world.

We need men that are fathers, not sperm donors.

We need men that work hard for their families with a sense of duty.

We need men that will stay with the wife of their youth, and love her as if she has never aged a single day.

We need men that boys can see the vision of what they are meant to be by God’s standard.

We need men that cry for their wives and children, not make them cry.

We need men to teach their children how they should be.

We need men that protect and not destroy.

We need men that comfort and not abuse.

We need men that have nothing to hide.

We need men that are affectionate to give and not to take.

We need men that live lives worth living.

We need men that children won’t have to get therapy after being raised by them.

We need men that wives would miss if they perished.

We need men that resemble Christ more than the Devil.

We need men that legends are made from.

We need men that are humble.

We need men that are kind.

We need men that are pure.

We need men that are noble.

We need men that treat women the same before and after they have married them.

We need men who will commit to a relationship.

We need men that not only capture a young girl’s heart, but then guards her heart for the rest of his days on this earth.

We need men that women would want to be with in heaven for all of eternity.

We need men that serve their wives, not turn their wives into their servants.

We need men that seek to elevate all that a woman can do in the church, not repress all the God given gifts that she has.

We need men who put on the new man and put away the old man.

We need men that care more for the dignity of a woman than the desires of their flesh.

We need men that do not have to erase the history in their browsers.

We need men that do not have to have secret online identities.

We need men who desire their wives above every other woman on earth.

We need men that Christ reigns in.

We need men that want to fear God, not that want to make others fear them.

We need men that don’t fit into the world.

We need men that will sacrifice themselves for others, not sacrifice others for themselves.

We need fathers not fornicators.

We need husbands not taskmasters.

We need men surrendered to Christ, not men who seek for others to surrender to them.

We need men who submit to Christ, not dominate others around them.

We need men that have eyes towards the Lord, not towards pornography.

We need men that teach their daughters what a husband should look like.

We need men that teach their sons how a husband should treat his wife.

We need men that give more than they take.

We need men who are not afraid to do the right thing.

We need men filled with the Holy Spirit, not beer and wine.

We need men more interested in faith and serving than sports and halftime shows.

We need men that spend more time in the Bible than in the garage.

We need men filled with the Lord more than full of themselves.

We need men that are humble before God, not proud before other men.

We need men that seek to impress the Lord more than men.

We need men that daughters do not fear in the night.

We need men that protect children, not molest them.

We need men that raise children, not just plant the seeds.

We need men that are faithful to their wives.

We need men that are faithful with their eyes.

We need men that don’t try to be higher by stepping on those around them.

We need men that lead the church, not wreck it.

We need men whose names are fit to be in the history books.

We need men that seek the wisdom of God over the foolishness of man.

We need men that can be trusted in all things.

We need men who could wear a t-shirt that says “righteous”.

We need men that people know are Christian.

We need men who have godly intentions in every relationship.

We need men that spend more time praying than worrying.

We need men filled with praise more than men filled with complaints.

We need men that complement their wives not criticize them.

We need men that other men cannot even understand.

We need men that do not look like the men of this world.

We need kingdom men.

We need Christ-like men.

We need heaven-minded men.

We need men that walk in the spirit, not in their flesh.

We need men that people don’t have to lie about them to say nice things at their memorial service.

We need men that don’t have to tell people how good they are because their life shows it.

We need men that applaud the success in others.

We need men who are fair and just.

We need men that would rather fight for what is right more than what is easy.

We need men that children want to remember.

We need men that women want to marry.

We need men that women want to stay married with.

We need men that wives brag about.

We need men that inspire other men to live higher lives.

We need men that can be trusted with a secret.

We need men that would be a mentor to others.

We need men that are qualified to be mentors to others.

We need men that fathers do not fear their daughters to be with.

We need men that fear the Lord.

We need godly men.

We need men that kneel low more than we need men that stand proud.

We need men that spend more time interceding for others than confessing in their prayers.

We need men who even pray.

We need men that are not too proud to seek the help of godly men to gain victory.

We need men who desire righteousness more than covering their shame.

We need men who would fight for righteousness more than remain as cowards in their sin.

We need men that are more interested in who they are than what they have.

We need men that are more interested in who they are than what they are able to pretend to be.

We need men that seek to be accepted by God more than man.

We need men that seek women their own age and make them feel young, and not seek young women to make themselves feel young.

We need men to come to church.

We need men to serve others, not just help themselves.

We need men that care for the needs in their community.

We need men that spend more time solving problems than complaining about them.

We need men that are worthy enough that we should make a statue for them.

We need men that have integrity.

We need men whose mouth does not need to be censored.

We need men that are brave enough to deal with their feelings.

We need men that try to change themselves more than those around them.

We need men that can overcome the wounds of their childhood, not create more wounds in the next generation.

We need men that desire the things of God more than the things of this world.

We need men that would raise boys that we can entrust our daughters to them.

We need men who do not have to explain their actions.

We need men that we can admire.

We need men of valor.

We need men of God.

Be that man.

Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.”

Be the man of God that God has called you to be.

Blessings to you,

Paul
